Why Winter in Acadia
Winter transforms Acadia National Park into a nearly silent, snow-draped landscape and you will witness what few photographers ever experience. During this Acadia winter photography workshop we capture dramatic coastlines free from summer crowds, ponds frozen with abstract patterns, and Maine’s famous evergreens etched in snow. On clear nights the park offers opportunities to capture the stars glittering above that winter landscape. Even our downtime is inviting, with the comfort of our cozy hotel right in the heart of Bar Harbor. Photographing Maine’s winter landscapes is a unique and rewarding adventure for the bold photographer willing to bundle up and embrace the season!
